The Alpacas of Spring Acres

The Alpacas of Spring Acres

About Us

This farm is home to over 90 suri alpacas, and the occasional rescue huacaya (which is just another breed of alpaca.)
Spring Acres offers tours during the summer months and has a year-round farm store. The store has a variety of products, including blankets, hats, scarves and sweaters made from alpaca fiber, home décor, kid toys and clothes. Yarn is the most plentiful item in the shop, with sock weight up to core spun carpet yarn. There are natural, undyed skeins and many with bright colors as well.

Tours run between June and October each year. You can expect to see some of the many suri alpacas that live here and learn about their history and lives. Tours are tailored to each group, people of all ages can have fun and learn something interesting.

The farm is owned by a couple. Rebecca Camma, a Newark native and the real reason behind the animals. It is her passion for weaving and suri alpacas that started their farming adventure.
Dr. Albert Camma is a Navy vet who performed neurosurgery in Zanesville for decades. He runs the business end of the farm, and also provides medical support when needed.
